Spring into day treks

Spring has sprung and it’s a great time for day trips. The kids are still in school, and the summer traffic hasn’t started yet. The weather isn’t blistering hot either; it’s just perfect for walking around in a light jacket. So dust off the umbrella (you know New England weather, it might just decide to rain) and take a spin to a few of those nearby sights.

Skodras’ heart of gold brightens lives

PAWTUCKET – “There is nothing better than volunteering.”
That assessment comes from Eviginia “Ginny” Skodras, an 87-year-old true do-gooder that finds it impossible to walk away from her role as a senior companion. “I just can’t stop. My people won’t let me stop. … They depend on me so much,” she said.
